I was contracted by Tennis Australia during the peak of the Australian Open, Melbourne's most iconic sporting event over the Summer. I supported the rollout of design assets across the precinct throughout the tournament. My work focused on AO Live, the tournament’s concert and entertainment program, alongside broader arena and brand activations. This role offered a unique opportunity to design within the intersection of sport and live entertainment.

Problem

The Australian Open required high-impact visuals that could translate across large-scale screens, motion graphics, and even live concert settings. Assets needed to be engaging, playful, and adaptable, while still aligning with the wider Australian Open brand. Tight deadlines and the fast pace of a live global event added an extra layer of complexity to the rollout.

Solution

I delivered a suite of dynamic visual assets, including motion design and animations for AO Live concert screens, designed to amplify energy and audience engagement. The work leaned into bold, playful creative that reflected the entertainment side of the tournament, while maintaining clarity and consistency across formats. This resulted in a cohesive and engaging visual experience across both sporting and live music environments.
